I'm back to making the ever-popular 44cm (17") rag dolls at the moment, in anticipation of the upcoming Essex Craft and Design Show over the May Day Bank Holiday (4-7 May) at Hyde Hall, Chelmsford. I have to confess I think my dolls get prettier and prettier - though it's all down to personal preference when it comes to colour schemes. I've made a few pink and blue dolls, and some with black faces, and I'm so pleased with the results. Every time I think I'll take a break, I see another colour combination I'm dying to try, so there'll be a few more lovely little numbers making their appearance this side of May.
I'm looking forward to seeing fellow stallholders at the Show whom I've got to know from exhibiting at the same shows over the last couple of years. Their products are incredibly diverse, but all very high quality and appealing, so do come along and seek us out. For example, look out for Lizzington beautiful Welsh tweed bags and accessories, and Designs on Silk unique hand dyed silk products - fabulous!!
