I was told that the Countess of Warwick's Country Show is an exciting event, with fun for all the family all weekend long. It certainly was! I was in the Barn Theatre along with several other high quality crafters. Outside the Barn was a fantastic collection of classic and vintage cars, live music, Morris dancers, vendors selling Pimms and Prosecco - and a crowd of enthusiastic punters. I was so busy I never got to see much of the event, but I know there was an arena for various show events, a dog show, crafters demonstrating their skills, and much, much more.
The wonderful weather was a bonus, but the fair was wonderful from beginning to end in any case. Jemima & Co sold lots of dolls and padded letters, and I met many lovely people including some longstanding friends, and a family who saw two of my dolls in a shop whilst on holiday in the Yorkshire Dales but who resided in Essex, so they came along to see the whole Jemima & Co collection.
I'll be busy for the next few weeks building up my stock again, in readiness for some great fairs in September!
